DUAL-CONVEYOR TURNER
The CMC Impianti dual-conveyor turner is a device used in packaging and palletizing lines to change the direction of products.
The device consists in a pair of adjacent conveyor belts having different speeds, thus making it possible to continuously change the direction of products even at high speed. When the product enters the device, it is rotated on itself by means of the differential speeds. The angle of rotation can be controlled by adjusting the speed delta of the two belts and the positioning of the product with respect to the axis of the device. The main assets are continuous rotation, compactness and ease of maintenance, as well as great versatility.
STAR WHEEL
The CMC Impianti star wheel is a device used in packaging and palletizing lines to change the direction of products.
The device is made up of a structure on which a plastic or metal star rotates, driven by a gearmotor; the product enters the device (placed on a conveyor) and is turned by means of the star’s movement. The main characteristics are versatility and ease of maintenance.
